A fast-paced heavyweight cake layering colorful mines, sparkling glitter, crackling stars, and large chrysanthemums across a wide section of the sky.
Fade to Black (BP2329/BPM2329) by Brothers Pyrotechnics is a 64-shot, 500-gram multi-shot cake that delivers a dense, angled performance in approximately 26 seconds. Its rapid sequence combines lower-level mine effects with higher aerial breaks, filling multiple levels of the sky with color and motion.
Alternating white-glitter and crackling mines introduce brilliant red, green, lemon, and purple stars before the display rises into large chrysanthemums. The angled firing pattern expands the presentation horizontally, producing impressive sky coverage without relying on exceptionally loud reports.

Fade to Black begins with angled mine effects that spread color and glitter across the lower portion of the sky. White glittering mines transition into red and green stars, creating bright flashes of traditional color against a shimmering background.
Additional sequences feature white crackling mines that transform into lemon and purple stars. These colorful effects rise higher before developing into large chrysanthemums, producing a layered display with activity at both lower and upper levels.
The 64 shots fire in a concentrated performance lasting approximately 26 seconds. This rapid pacing keeps the sky continuously active while the angled configuration spreads the effects across a broad viewing area.
White glittering mines launch from the cake and introduce sparkling lower-level effects. These mines transition into vibrant red and green stars, combining bright color with a clean, shimmering backdrop.
The traditional red-and-green combination provides strong contrast while the white glitter adds depth and visual texture.
White crackling mines bring a livelier effect to the display, filling the lower sky with energetic sparks before transitioning into lemon and purple stars.
The unusual lemon-and-purple color pairing provides a distinct contrast to the earlier red-and-green sequence and helps maintain visual variety throughout the performance.
Above the colorful mine effects, larger chrysanthemum breaks spread outward at a higher altitude. Their rounded aerial patterns add size and fullness to the performance while balancing the faster-moving mines below.
This layered presentation allows Fade to Black to fill several portions of the sky simultaneously.
The angled firing pattern directs shots across multiple sections of the sky instead of concentrating every effect directly overhead. This creates a wider field of color and gives the 64-shot cake the appearance of a coordinated display segment.
Its broad spread makes Fade to Black especially useful as a feature cake or as part of a larger show designed around layered, panoramic effects.
Fade to Black delivers 64 aerial shots in approximately 26 seconds. The dense shot count and compact runtime create continuous action with very little empty sky between effects.
Despite its rapid pace and heavyweight classification, the product maintains a low-to-moderate sound profile compared with cakes built around heavy reports and salutes.

Place Fade to Black outdoors on a hard, flat, and level surface. Stabilize the cake according to its label and face the designated spectator side in the proper direction.
Because the cake fires effects at multiple angles, provide additional clearance on both sides of the firing area. Keep spectators, buildings, vehicles, trees, dry vegetation, and overhead obstructions outside the complete firing and fallout zone.
Maintain the spectator distance required by the manufacturer and local regulations. Have water readily available and designate a sober, responsible adult to supervise the display. Light the fuse from the side and immediately move to a safe distance.
Never lean over, hold, move, or attempt to relight the cake. If it does not function properly, wait at least 15–20 minutes before approaching and then soak it thoroughly with water.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable local and state laws.
